CAIRO: At least 28 people were killed and over 90 injured as supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi clashed with the police in cities across Egypt as the country marked the 40th anniversary of its last war with Israel. Clashes were reported from Cairo, Minya, Alexandria , Suez and Aswan.
In Cairo, policemen fired shots and burst tear gas shells to disperse stonethrowing protesters as Muslim Brotherhood activists marched towards Tahrir Square, where pro-army supporters gathered to celebrate the anniversary of an attack on Israeli forces in 1973.
